Vinylmax Windows Prices
Vinylmax windows prices start at $325 and top out at $525. Contractors give Vinylmax windows some mixed reviews. Most agree that they are a decent mid-grade window, but there is some disagreement on how they should be priced. With a good installer and a good price, they are a good, solid choice.
Vinylmax Hyde Park Window Costs
The Hyde Park is Vinylmax's bottom tier window. It has a .30 U-value and a poor air infiltration rate of 0.17. Available as a double hung, slider, bay, bow, garden, or picture window, it can be compared to the Ply Gem Pro. Some think that the frame is heavier and more durable than the Pro, and it is often priced about 10% higher. It comes with a lifetime warranty.
Vinylmax Easton Windows Prices
The Easton is a step up from the Hyde Park, but it has pretty much the same performance numbers. It comes as a picture, double hung or slider. There is an available upgrade to the triple pane R-5 package. That will give you much better numbers and cut down on exterior sound. Contractors compare it to the Simonton 5050.
Vinylmax Sherwood Windows Cost
The Sherwood Series is Vinylmax's premier vinyl product. The exterior is vinyl and the interior is either oak or poplar. Some contractors feel that the wood seems to be cheaply glued onto the frame, but others think it looks good. For a wood clad window the price is very low. It's probably best to get a look at one in person before buying. Compare this model to say the Andersen 200 Series wood clad model.
