Composite Windows Prices
Composite windows prices range in price from around $300 to $800 installed for a standard sized double hung. A composite frame is a relatively generic term for any mix of materials used in the construction of window frames - often it is a Upvc material combined with wood and other materials to make a stronger, more flexible frame. While they aren't the most popular frame types, there are some brands and products that get thumbs up from many of the top contractors in the industry.

Cost For A Composite Window (Product Only)
Entry Level: $150 to $250
Low end or construction grade products will be found either at home improvement mega stores or from local distributors/installers. Generally, the budget type windows will be simple frames that lack any fills or multichambers. The window will have a clear glass or perhaps a lower end low-e glass. Expect a cheaper hardware and a minimal warranty - or no warranty at all.
Mid Grade: $250 to $450
A mid grade level composite frame will run anywhere from $250 to $450 for the window itself. There is a pretty big range here based on the manufacturer, size of the opening, glass package, hardware and other upgrades and options. In comparison to the entry level products, consumers can expect to see more strength in the frame itself (either through fills, multiple chambers or reinforced sashes), a better glass package, better spacer system and glass gas fills, upgraded hardware etc.
Premium Level: $450 to $650
Premium products are expensive, topping out at $650 just for the window itself. Usually this level of products incorporates all the bells and whistles - frame fills and multichambers, reinforced sash, a great glass package with end end spacers and gas fills. Also top quality metal hardware such as a brushed nickel - all of this from a well known manufacturer with a solid life time warranty.
Installation Prices
Window installation prices for composites will be in line with other frame types - $65 and $250 per opening. $65 is the industry standard price for a simple insert, $125 per opening for a typical install with some work to the sills and stops and $250 per opening for full frame replacements.
