Jeld Wen's Builder lines are sold at large home improvement stores, including Home Depot and Lowe's. With a good installation they are serviceable windows, but the price and quality are both quite low. They are most suited to a rental property. Builder's Wood Series
The Builder Wood is designed as a contractor grade window. It features a wood interior and vinyl exterior. For the price, you can get a much higher quality vinyl window. There are few reviews available for this window.
Jeld-Wen Aluminum Window Series
Jeld Wen's entry level aluminum clad window is most often used by developers and builders. The Siteline and Custom Wood from Jeld Wen are generally a better option for replacements.
Siteline EX Series
The Siteline is a mid grade window that gets fairly good reviews. The extrusion includes a nailing flange for added strength and durability. A better-view screen comes standard. The warranty provides decent coverage, and they have a reputation of standing behind their products. Compare to Kolbe aluminum windows.
Custom Wood Series
The Custom Wood Series was once the Pozzi Series. One of their top models that uses it an aluminum outside cladding and a wood interior. The model uses an Auralast wood that contractors feel holds up well over time.
Premium Atlantic Series
The IPEX is Jeld Wen's top vinyl window. The Evertone finish is a step up from painted interiors. The double hung has a DP50 rating to withstand severe weather. The lifetime warranty covers materials, as well as labor if you use their installers.
