Highly Recommended

I just had fifteen windows replaced in my home using Wallside. I got a really good price and paid $4,700, which I thought was fantastic. I found the sales representative to be professional and friendly, he didn't waste my time and was very upfront about price, quality and installation. I wasn't too keen on the man they sent to do the measurements and he wasn't happy when I told him he had to remove his shoes before coming into my home. But in the end he warmed up and turned out to be a really nice guy.

The installation guys were great, there were three of them and they were all very professional and friendly. They didn't seem bothered in answering my string of questions as they did the installation. They also laid down plastic to ensure my floors and furniture were safe, in the end I gave them a tip for their efforts. Of course it all went way too smoothly and within a few days I started noticing chips both inside and outside my home. They were mostly located under the window sills, obviously they were not careful enough when removing their plastic.

I did have a response from Wallside who offered to come and clean up a second time at no additional cost, but because I had already cleaned most of it myself, I turned them down. Later they offered me compensation because I had to do the cleaning myself, which should have been done properly by their installers. They gave me a generous compensation and even phoned a few weeks later to see if I was still happy with my choice. By this time I had noticed that some of the panes seemed to be dropping, they immediately sent out a team at no extra cost to re-balance the windows. Overall I have had an excellent experience, their customer services department are fantastic, their windows are good and everyone I have dealt with at Wallside are professional and courteous.

Great Window Company

I had Wallside windows and a door installed a couple of months ago and I must say overall my experience has been really good. The salesman came and explained everything to me, he also went through their payment options they had. I chose the three year payment plan. He also discussed window types with me and color options, it was such an easy process, so I signed with them straight away. The salesman told me that all their windows are made to order and that it would be around four weeks before installation. They called to schedule my appointment about four weeks later.

I was surprised on the day of installation when an installer arrived all on his own and a little late. He apologized and advised his partner had not arrived at work and to reduce delays he had come on his own to carry out the installation. This did worry me, but while he took longer than expected he did an amazing job. Then another installer arrived a little later on to install the door and they were both done and gone by 4pm. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Wallside to anyone. They are professional, reliable and even though the installer arrived on his own, he arrived on the day they promised, which was a huge plus in my books.

Great Wallside Experience

I phoned around and spoke to a lot of companies trying to have my three windows and two door walls replaced before the deadline for energy tax credits. I spoke to about five door and window companies and obtained quotes. When the Wallside salesman arrived, I was not impressed, he wasn't the best dressed, but after talking to him for a while, I felt he was very honest and explained everything to me in detail, which I appreciated. The quote he presented me with was also much cheaper than the others.

They assured me they could do the installation within three weeks, so I went ahead and closed the deal with them. When the installers arrived, it was two guys who arrived on time and didn't waste any time in getting to work. They started at 10am and by 1pm they were done. Not only did they do an excellent job, but they took the time to go around each window with me and showed me how they worked. They cleaned the area, leaving it clean, which I really appreciated about them. The city inspector came to do their inspection and mentioned what a good job they had done. Wallside is a top choice if you're looking for replacement windows or doors, I can only say great things about this window company.

Wallside vs. Simonton

I have three Wallside Windows placed in my Michigan home. I paid about $4,000 for two double hung windows and a bow window. It was last winter when I noticed ice building up on the inside of my bow window, so I immediately got in touch with customer services who tried to convince me that it was normal. Eventually after a number of calls they agreed to replace the glass panes inside the bow window, hopefully this has fixed the problem. The double hungs I got from them aren't much better and I find when I wash my windows from the outside, the water leaks inside. The thing is that my other are all Simonton windows and I have never had a problem with them. Had I known I would have stuck with the Simontons, they are a better window and I believe that anyone who asks me now, I will tell them to go with the Simontons instead.

Great Customer Experience

Overall, Wallside provided us with great customer experience. We realized very late that we hadn't replaced our windows to take advantage of the tax rebate which was due early December. I phoned Wallside and they sent out a salesman the very next day. The salesman sat with us, gave us his sales pitch and was professional, friendly and willing to answer questions without any fuss. We told him our situation and he assured us that they could have the windows installed in time. The installers arrived on the agreed date, there were five of them ready to install my thirteen windows and one door. They started at about 8am and were done by 1pm. They were also very professional and did everything to the highest quality. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Wallside, they are a service orientated company made up of professional and friendly people.

Condensation Problems

Last fall we had three windows and a door wall installed by Wallside. We live in Michigan and I must say I was impressed with the speed and professionalism of both the salesman and the installers. But a few weeks after installation we noticed condensation problems arising. All three windows were covered outside with condensation, I couldn't see out of them and it didn't go away. I called Wallside and they tried to convince me that it's completely normal based on the current humidity. I told them that my wood clads that I have had for years never have this problem. Unfortunately they have decided that it's normal and there is not much I can do about it now except to replace these with something else in the near future.
