Average Rating: 8.3 out of 10. Highly RecommendedI just had fifteen windows replaced in my home using Wallside. I got a really good price and paid $4,700, which I thought was fantastic. I found the sales representative to be professional and friendly, he didn't waste my time and was very upfront about price, quality and installation. I wasn't too keen on the man they sent to do the measurements and he wasn't happy when I told him he had to remove his shoes before coming into my home. But in the end he warmed up and turned out to be a really nice guy. Consumer Rating: 10 out of 10 Great Window CompanyI had Wallside windows and a door installed a couple of months ago and I must say overall my experience has been really good. The salesman came and explained everything to me, he also went through their payment options they had. I chose the three year payment plan. He also discussed window types with me and color options, it was such an easy process, so I signed with them straight away. The salesman told me that all their windows are made to order and that it would be around four weeks before installation. They called to schedule my appointment about four weeks later.
Consumer Rating: 9 out of 10 Great Wallside ExperienceI phoned around and spoke to a lot of companies trying to have my three windows and two door walls replaced before the deadline for energy tax credits. I spoke to about five door and window companies and obtained quotes. When the Wallside salesman arrived, I was not impressed, he wasn't the best dressed, but after talking to him for a while, I felt he was very honest and explained everything to me in detail, which I appreciated. The quote he presented me with was also much cheaper than the others. Consumer Rating: 10 out of 10 Wallside vs. SimontonI have three Wallside Windows placed in my Michigan home. I paid about $4,000 for two double hung windows and a bow window. It was last winter when I noticed ice building up on the inside of my bow window, so I immediately got in touch with customer services who tried to convince me that it was normal. Eventually after a number of calls they agreed to replace the glass panes inside the bow window, hopefully this has fixed the problem. The double hungs I got from them aren't much better and I find when I wash my windows from the outside, the water leaks inside. The thing is that my other are all Simonton windows and I have never had a problem with them. Had I known I would have stuck with the Simontons, they are a better window and I believe that anyone who asks me now, I will tell them to go with the Simontons instead. Consumer Rating: 6 out of 10 Great Customer ExperienceOverall, Wallside provided us with great customer experience. We realized very late that we hadn't replaced our windows to take advantage of the tax rebate which was due early December. I phoned Wallside and they sent out a salesman the very next day. The salesman sat with us, gave us his sales pitch and was professional, friendly and willing to answer questions without any fuss. We told him our situation and he assured us that they could have the windows installed in time. The installers arrived on the agreed date, there were five of them ready to install my thirteen windows and one door. They started at about 8am and were done by 1pm. They were also very professional and did everything to the highest quality. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Wallside, they are a service orientated company made up of professional and friendly people.
Consumer Rating: 10 out of 10 Condensation ProblemsLast fall we had three windows and a door wall installed by Wallside. We live in Michigan and I must say I was impressed with the speed and professionalism of both the salesman and the installers. But a few weeks after installation we noticed condensation problems arising. All three windows were covered outside with condensation, I couldn't see out of them and it didn't go away. I called Wallside and they tried to convince me that it's completely normal based on the current humidity. I told them that my wood clads that I have had for years never have this problem. Unfortunately they have decided that it's normal and there is not much I can do about it now except to replace these with something else in the near future. Consumer Rating: 5 out of 10 |
