Amerimax Windows Prices

Amerimax windows prices start at $450 and top out at $600 for a normal size double hung installed. They make a solid mid grade vinyl replacement window. Amerimax have a decent reputation, and the growing company is establishing a track record of reliable products and good customer service. They have quite a few exterior colors to choose from, a plus for home owners whose HOAs require it - but the colors do increase the price of the window itself.

Craftsman Portrait Series

The Craftsman Portrait is a good vinyl replacement window that is a step above their other offerings. It includes features such as 2x glass, 3x weatherstripping, and a super spacer. Some people think the frame is bulky, but it does offer even sightlines, a new feature in the Amerimax lines. These windows have a U-factor of .29 and an SHGC of .29 as well. Like their other unpainted windows, there is a 20 year warranty that covers both labor and material. The cost and quality can be compared to the 500 Series from Okna or the HomeStar Series from Home Guard.
